      1. That’s a sad story. Well, it’s kinda sad either way. Friendships made with other humans are precious and it’s hard enough when people drift apart slowly. It’s tenfold harder when the rift happens inexplicably and without warning. This story, though very different, reminds me of another one called Night Train at Deoli by Ruskin Bond. And I’ve actually been in part of a similar unspoken friendship. Something poignantly melancholic about it. Very well done Mr Thompson.
